New Weekly Build: v0.56



Hey, folks!
Got a fresh new build right outta the oven with a lot of little tweaks and updates, many of which have to do with the fact that Mercy needed new sprites for fishing, riding Orus, combat, etc. on account of her change in appearance.

Remind me to never change Mercy's appearance again!

Other than that, making a little more progress on the story and managed to squeeze in a spicy new NSFW scene in the process. Hope everyone enjoys.

  • Added a new skill to Beatrix: Essence Bolt
  • Fixed a lighting-related crash in Carvannah
  • Fixed some outdated fishing spots and updated fishing spots with new portraits
  • Updated some dialogue around Carvannah to reflect the passage of time (WIP)
  • Added new Mercy blindfold Orus riding sprite
  • Updated and fixed Orus riding events (and all doorways events)
  • Added new Mercy blindfold fishing sprite

New Release: version 0.165!

Hey folks, sending out a new release to the world, even if it's not a huge one. This week has largely been a flurry of activity, not least of which the Steam Store ( https://store.steampowered.com/app/1517470/Daughter_of_Essence/ ) (now live), the website ( https://indoorminotaur.wixsite.com/home ) (now also live) and the Patreon page (which was locked for having "implied nudity" on public posts but is now restored after a number of edits were made).  I think there are something like 76 attainable members of the cove now (though not all attainable in the same playthrough), which is ludicrous when I think of how much work goes into adding just 1 person to that whole complex operation. The latest member, Tom, is cool, but there's still more I want to write up on this particular character, so expect to see more of him next week. Anyway, did I mention the release date is set?! March 12th. Keep your eye on the prize. Also be sure to add our game to the wishlist on Steam. U
